Spiritual Growth

If your self-care routine doesn't involve prayer and scripture, you're doing it all wrong Sis.

Clear skin and a tight stomach won't grow your relationship with the Lord.

A glass of wine won't settle your weary heart, bring peace to your weary mind, or give rest to your weary soul.

"Girl time" brings temporary joy, but never a permanent solution.

Finding your identity in Christ is the first step of "self-care." "Purpose" is a result of a found identity in Christ. "Self-love" comes from being settled in Christ.

Peace, joy, contentment — inwardly, in your home, in your relationships — are all a direct result of a strong prayer life and close relationship with the Lord.

Only God can give the peace and happiness you're searching for. Only prayer can move the mountains you've tried so desperately to move yourself. Only scripture can give the answers you've searched for in relationships, in work, in yourself.

ALL things come from Christ. He created you. He knew you before you were born, He knows the amount of hair on your head, and He sent His son to die for you! Yes, you! Why wouldn't the creator of mankind have the answers we so desperately seek? Why wouldn't the Heavenly Father who sacrificed His own child to save you not fulfill His perfect will in your life?

He only requires us to accept Him, to love Him, and to live for Him.

“Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: for every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.” Matthew‬ ‭7:7-8‬

Grow in your relationship with the Lord by talking to Him daily! Read His word, daily! Spiritual growth is the ultimate form of self-care!
