SCHOLARSHIP
It is our mission to ensure every child has the opportunity to gain the skills needed for self rescue should your child find themself in the water and safe swimming. After extensive research, we have found survival swim lessons to be the most beneficial to children of all ages, however, we understand that not all families are able to make this investment. With the kind donations given by our supporters, we hope to sponsor as many children as possible with survival swim lessons. You can apply below to be a recipient of the Briggs Ingram Swim Scholarship.
Details
1. Love Can Build A Briggs Swim Scholarship covers 50% of the total cost up to $450, per child for the 6-8 weeks of lessons in addition to working with your local survival swim instructor to reduce out of pocket tuition costs not covered by the scholarship. The applicant will be responsible for the deposit and remaining costs. All fees and tuition costs will be paid directly to your Instructor.
2. Registration fees are covered by the applicant and must be paid directly to your instructor.
3. To improve the speed of approval, we request that you find an instructor near you prior to applying for the scholarship. 4. If awarded, your child MUST attend all lessons for the entire length of the course. These are 5 days per week lasting approximately 10 minutes a day.
