Love Truly Is Building A Briggs

My dad said something our last night in Laurel that not only spoke to my heart, but changed my perspective of the weekend.

We were graciously hosted at the serene Blue Herron Cove; met with gifts and dinner from the loving town of Laurel, MS.

We met new friends and made new memories while relishing in old ones.

Though I choked back many tears as I walked through town with a piece of my heart missing, a piece that had accompanied me just a short but very long year before, I was able to feel a joy that only comes from the Lord.

After our family was unexpectedly blessed by the owners of The Loft, my Dad in all his wisdom says, "this is Briggs gift to us. He's gifted us so much since his passing."

While we know all blessings come from the Father, what a beautiful thought to think that our little buddy is shining down on us from Heaven, sending people to fill our broken hearts with love in his absence.

Love truly is building a Briggs.

Thank you Lord, thank you Briggsy baby, and thank you to the good people of Laurel, Mississippi. Our hearts are filled.
